The last edition (17th) of “Little Treasures” was held from 30 November till 11 December 2024, at the Galleria De Marchi, Bologna, returning to its traditional autumnal period.

Since 2008 Trevisan International Art has presented its unique and original “Little Treasures”, a mini format exhibition of artworks, at the Galleria De Marchi, in close partnership. These exhibitions promote international artists from Europe and all over the world and provide a valuable opportunity for artistic, cultural and human exchange.

Little Treasures has proven to be one of our most successful Trevisan International Art annual events; these exhibitions of art-jewels have always proven extremely popular and have become a strong attraction to many very fine creators and connoisseurs alike.

We were grateful and delighted by the continuing enthusiastic interest by artists wishing to participate to this art event. In a 360 degree view of the concept of art, curator Paola Trevisan chose to present various ways of artistic expression. It was fascinating to discover many unique little gems, created by talented artists who will take up the challenge by experimenting and playing with their creativity in the 20×20 cm small format. Every single work of art revealed their unicity thanks to a expert and accurate installation.

Over the past ten years Trevisan International Art presented a selection of Little Treasures also abroad, in occasion of art events and participation at art Fairs, considering an integral and complementary part of its exhibitions, even in larger formats.

Dear Paola,

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for allowing me to show my work in the context of the 2024 Little Treasures exhibition. I am also grateful for the opportunity to be part of a community. Group shows are a good reminder that while our creative journeys are individual, they are interconnected. So thank you very much for allowing me to discover the work of so many artists, and the people behind the art.
Your approach to curation is very poetic and shows great sensitivity. You managed to tell a cohesive story for the exhibition, bringing together several personal narratives that resonate with each other.

I enjoyed looking at the artworks of other artists in the photos that you were so kind to send me. Indeed, it is such a variety of artistic expression but one can sense something uniting all of them and it is thanks to you who made so much effort to find those artists and bring their artworks together under one roof.
I do believe that art can change the world. This is because human soul is the only underlying cause of everything that happens around us and art has the power to influence human soul.

The event was clearly very well attended – well-deserved after all your hard work – and I’m so happy for you! Seventeen years is a long time to put an annual show together, especially one as complex as this, and you have done an amazing job to keep it all going over all those years.
